For the Houston Werkers … It’s Restaurant Week!

9:18 pm in Announcements, Events and Get Togethers, Something I Found by Bridgette Penel

It’s Restaurant Week again!   Below is the list of restaurants. And this year they are doing $20 – 2 course lunches and 3 course dinners for $35

Diners will enjoy three or four course (depending on the restaurant) gourmet dinners for $35 per person (not including beverages, tax or gratuity). Participating restaurants pledge to donate $5 from each special dinner sold to the Houston Food Bank.

This is a wonderful opportunity for diners to try new restaurants or re-visit old favorites while helping to fight hunger in Houston. HRW is planned by volunteers so that 100% of funds raised are donated to the Houston Food Bank.

Starting Sunday, Aug 1 – Saturday Aug 21st

We’re growing with you …

Let’s Take A Bite Out Of Learning From One Another …

We love Werkadoo – I’m sure that comes as no surprise.  We’ve had the Werkadoo bug for more than 2 years now and are finally getting to the point where we can share our path along the way … and, our beta product that supports our vision.   But, as we’ve taken each step, attended awesome camps and events, sat with many of you for focus groups and had great conversations over coffee, we’ve come to learn that we wanted a place where all of us,Werkadoo-rs, fans, users, new-comers, and inquisitives out there can have a community where we all walk the Werkadoo journey together.  What’s been so amazing up to this point is all of the time and solid advice, suggestions, patience, and knowledge all of you have shared – so, why is it that we don’t have a place that all of us can hear it?  Well … now we all do!

Werkadoo’s blog is probably not the one you are traditionally used to.  Our goal is to make it interactive and one that gives us all a place to contribute to.  This will always be a ‘werk’ in progress and as it grows, just as we are, I know I speak for myself and the Werkadoo team when I say that we’re pretty excited to see what information, articles, tips, suggestions (all the like) everyone has to offer.

Werkadoo will remain focused and dedicated to building a product that supports you and we now have a blog community ready to nurture it.  Ready – aim - bite!
